Hmmm... It's a Q4 catalogue, a bit late if you ask me
Everything was already revealed on Facebook/instagram
The only news i could find was another green Stuka which looks practically the same as the old one ( i think a nice tan trop version would have been better)
And the Sturmpanzer gets sideskirts
For me nothing much to get exited about
But he, hats off for a brand that has more than a hundred ww2 models by now.....
That is something you couldn't have dreamed off years ago, and they still continue to do so
I'm more looking forward for the plans for 2019, but maybe that will be a december thing
I'm guessing a new panzer III and IV, maybe a smaller Puma, definitly a new bigger German plane like maybe a Ju 52, do 17, ju88, maybe a new German nightfighter like a He 219 Uhu, Me 210 Hornisse
But i'm hoping on more jets, definitly a 2 seater Me 262 nightfighter, He 162 and Me 163 who are really absent now
Also hoping on a Cobi styled Fw 190 d / Ta 152 ( which wouldn't be much trouble for Cobi design/money wise, just revamp an existing fw 190), and offcourse a Do 335 ( which would look really cool i'm sure)
Personally, how much i like their WWI and much less their ships, i think they could have been better expand their WW2 plane collection instead of making new line-ups ( i'lll definitly step on somebodies toe here...)
I rather have an extensive full plane collection that covers everything than a lesser collection devided over more aspects of war-era's and different land/sea/air vehicles
.... But offcourse that is just my opinion ;-)

The picture in the new catalogue for the set 5549 "Douglas C-47 Skytrain (Dakota) - Berlin Airlift" shows a 4-engine "Douglas C-54 Skymaster" instead.
Is it a mistake, or does it mean we will get 4-engine planes at last?

It lists 550 parts for set 5549 (4 engine picture) and 560 parts for set 5548 (2 engine picture). Can't see how they would have 4 engines but less parts in the set?

The only news i could find was another green Stuka which looks practically the same as the old one ( i think a nice tan trop version would have been better) Hi!
I've checked the Stuka and they have redesigned the front part and the fuselage. The front now looks rounder, but unfortunately still not like the original. In the original, the hood runs diagonally down to the propeller. In the new Cobi version she is completely straight.
With the fuselage they have now done a slightly better job and made it slimmer, as far as I can judge in the pictures.
And as much as I like to see the C47 as a model, I really do not like the aircraft nose and the cockpit. They look like a Boeing and not like a C47. I hope they change that until the launch.
Regards!

So... what about the new Nashorn? Can´t wait for it much longer... Would be nice to have it under the christmas tree.
The new chassis will be an excellent base for all those Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks and self propelled guns MOCs...
Hope that COBI will release finally a new version of Panzer III and Stug III in 2019...
That new version of T34-85 looks awesome as well, maybe it will be my first russian tank (I owned one WOT KV2 but cannibalized it for spare parts).
By the way: I´ve seen, that there are new versions of SdKfz. 251 and Opel Blitz. Are they downsized in scale or just like the old versions?
Maybe one of the fellow collectors can post some pics for size comparisson...

The new sdkfz 251 is a little more downsized, instead, the opel blitz is always the same giant truck bigger than a tank.

I think I will moc the Nashorn instantly. The First Part of the gun Barrel, Out of the Chassis seems to be too thin. Im going to Put in two more Tank soldiers with mg34 and lego camo Plants..Like my Marder III Moc. The parts are already ready

It is not only the barrel that needs to be mocced Especially in length it is really out of proportion; i am guessing some 3 or 4 studs longer in length and you'll be a long way Making it flatter is not really an option looking at those tiles Furthermore it is a great model

Not only the nashorn, hummel is too much short too, however it can be fixed easily.
