Made a properly scaled kettenkrad using only Cobi parts Unlike the official Cobi version, your MOC looks perfectly in scale with the minifig now, great work!

That new Panzer IV chassis we can already see in Hummel and Brummbär looks awesome!
Finalmente!
Can´t wait for all that new COBI stuff. New Panzer III Ausf. L., new Panzer IV Ausf. G., new StuGs, Hornisse...
Seems like I have to sort out some of the IIIer /IVer then...
Modified my VK 16.02 Leopard MOC. Improved chassis, downsized ist, changed some details... Can not make it thinner because of the 3 studs wide tracks...

Looking good, Sweroboj!
I also like the shape of the turret, very nice
I think this VK 16.02 will never be made by Cobi officially, so a great choice to make
This is a favorite of mine, not being a great fan of small tanks, this is the one i like
Especially that small Panther look of it all, sort of a baby Panther
Shame it never went in mass production, especially because it used a lot if part from a big Panther

achtungpanzer: Thank you, I like your Kettenkrad HK NSU 101 MOC very much as well! Great job on this MOC again comrade! It is hard to resist the desire to take my allmighty saw and rebuild it. I have only one BMW R75 in my collection and dont want to destroy it in the moment...
The turret of my VK 16.02 Leopard MOC is actually just a slightly modified version of COBI 2446 Sdkfz. 234 Puma.
I think I only changed gun mantled and gun, changed into the 30 mm MK 103. Also made the turret at the back side one brick longer and changed colours. The white rings on gun are stickers.
Unfortunately you can not move the gun of my COBI moc model more down because of the shape of the "Saukopfblende" gun mantled. I experimented to built a gap between turret and hull, but I decided finally to built without gap.
The new chassis I built is much shorter, a little bit thinner an flatter than the COBI Panther chassis. My last experiences of my Panther MOC were very usefull to improve the VK 16.02 into its actual design. I built an VK Leopard MOC because it is one of my favourite vehicles in World of tanks. It is a light tank with tremendous firepower out of the 30 mm MK 103 ingame. I always try to keep out of the way of enemy VK 16.02s because of the MK 103... It hurts too much.
I think the real one never went to mass production because of performance weakness of the 50 mm KWK/L60 in the second half of WW2. In 1943 this gun simply had not enough penetration power for the new russian tanks.
So, I think this year I will only buy the new Nashorn, one more BMW R75 too rebuild Achtungpanzers Kettenkrad and maybe one Spähpanzerwagen Sdkfz. 222... I hope Achtungpanzer agrees with an Sweroboj Kettenkrad replica. Is it patent-protected? ;-)

Just figured out that you can make nice Volkswagen hubcaps on your kubelwagen using that rounded part which is included in the kubel's front next to the spare tire But does anyone know which set contains 4 of them in green or tan? I'm working on a complete reworked camo kubel and that could be a nice touch

Also working on that good old Panther again..... I wanted the front wheels to be raised higher on my old moc so i reworked the whole chassis again where i had to raise and lenghten the front fenders and raise the frontal glacis higher to get a better realistic look Still doubting if i should use the 2 stud wide tracks too, and use the renault wheels Best would be that cobi makes 2 and a half wide tracks..... Here is how i attached the frontal glacis plate in that specific angle using just 2 lego minifigure legs; And here is how i attached the tracks on the slanted flat side using a 1x6 tile with 2 studs on each side; Also reworked the back with more integrated stowage bins; Here's a profile pic;

The legs minifig used like a brick is a genious way.

Thanks Incalcatore!
There are a couple of advantages of using those legs;
- you can make real tight corners ( as oppositie of using Cobi's hinge plates, where you always have a huge gap between the bowing pieces )
-you can discard 1 plate layer ( cobi hinge plate ), so you can make real flat surfaces ( if you don't have space for a hinge)
- legs are stiffer; if you make a slanted piece, it stays stay way ( hinges get/or are already lame )
- downside is that the legs are very hgh.... You can't use them everywhere

Nice upgrade of the Panther - downside is that the legs are very hgh.... You can't use them everywhere But you could mount the legs in "sitting" position, then they are not that high anymore (but need an additional stud space towards the back) ...

Very nice design indeed! This was probably the most anticipated vehicle missing from the "Great War" product range. Keep up the good work, Cobi!

There are some news on Cobi´s page:
Finally, the release of the Hornisse/Nashorn is just a matter of time now. Hope it will bei available in November.
I think I will order two of the Nashorns to improve the chassis of my Panzer III MOC...
Seems like Cobi changed the StG44 design, made it shorter...
It is time that Cobi will also release a MG42 finally...
Edit: links failed. Just take a look on yourself on cobi.pl...
