After some closer examination on the Bf 110, i found out that cobi did the wings also 1 plate higher to the fuselage; They found a way to lower the seats 1 plate deeper into the build; I got rid of that extra layer already on all my planes..... I thought that the wing had to be raised 2 plates closer to the fuselage; But the official cobi pic is not a real good profile picture( it is taken slightly from above, look at the wheels), so it looks like the wings are 2 plates too low But it is actually perfect at closer examination Also a new part i haven't seen before between the seats at the upper fuselage; a 1 stud wide upper fuselage part Miight come in handy for moccing planes for acheving different lenghts

I just noticed that Cobi is already selling this set in their shop: Looks like the same 2cm FlaK 30 as in the diorama set 5544 "Messerschmitt Bf 109 - African Mission". And the ruins are recycled from "Battle of Berlin" issue 11 (5560). I was wondering when the dioramas from the "Battle of Berlin" issues would pop up in normal sets, because all the vehicles from that series have already been re-released as normal sets. Well .... now we know ... and the other dioramas from issue 33, 38 and 44 will probably show up also in one form or another ... P.S.: I just noticed that apparently the updated Panzer II is already available, Cobi just hasn't updated their product picture yet. (super-bricks.de was offering this set already before christmas)

I'm quite eager to get that PzII. I've got a shelf with PzI - PzVI, and all are gray except for the PzIII. I was sort of hoping that Cobi would do a newer version of the III in gray, but I'll settle for a camo II so that I can justify swapping out some of the other hulls for different colored versions.

Maybe this is old news, but i just found out cobi also has an airplane loose parts collection
I saw nosepieces in all colors, propellers (nice when they break of) and landing gear ( also nice, because these tend to get lame overtime)

And what if my white propellers for the Nakajima Ki-49 break?

I built the cobi stur, tiger, always the same problem, the hull is too much tall. Did you get all the correct parts in your Sturmtiger set? I got 3 handlebars an only one of the plates with a ring at the end (to mount the loading crane), but the set is supposed to contain 2 of each parts. As the handlebar is normaly not included as an extra spare part (like the parts with clips and pins), it looks like Cobi's sorting machine mixed up the two parts, as they each have a lenght of 3 studs and at least one "round" end ... I also found a small piece of paper with the code "KJ-5" in one of the parts bags ... never encountered that before in a Cobi set. And my set also already contained a "correction" parts bag with just one part in it, which was needed in the building steps for the content of the big bag labeled "2", but the bag with just this one part was not included in that big bag labeled "2", but was among the loose bag for building step 1 (For cost reasons Cobi seems to have omitted the big bag labeled "1", and just steps 2 and above get a separate big labeled bag now).

Upper hull and turret look almost identical to the previous version. Look to be some changes to the running gear and the lower hull though.
Not enough to force me into thinking I need to buy this again.

By the end of the month, the new catalog will probably be available. They need that for the Toyfair in Nuremberg.
There will probably be the first ww1 sets, the warships, submarines and some new ww2 tanks.
