A little late in the game IMO, but could be very cool.
My ongoing hope is that they actually release sets to correspond with film release dates, and in actual retail stores, rather than as part of another stealth campaign along the lines of "we dare you to try to find it."

Thinking a Mecha-Godzilla set would be a no-brainer...

They're for the new movie out in March or April, so they're actually early on the merch for this.
There's also a Kong for this which looks better than the Godzilla
The stuff Panlos is putting out for the film is sooo much better though Godzilla and Kong sets.

I'm glad to see them producing anything that's relevant to anything current, which is a major change in strategy for them. But i agree with the above, that these kits don't stack up very well with what we've seen from other vendors. Maybe Mega will release a larger set or two with greater detail. Heck, I'm surprised that they weren't simply teasing one $250 set that'll only be available from one online source for two hours five months from now. Or maybe that's how it'll wind up playing out. Again.
These are likely going to be in the $50 - $75 range, but they really need to tap into lower-end pricing. It's a rare impulse buyer who says "sure, I'll drop $75 on single set from a much-maligned second tier brand." Let see a wave of stuff in the $8, $10, $15 and $20 range. You know, the way the industry leader does it!
Still, hoping to see these on shelves...

Not to be nit-picky but, why does the Godzilla have such tiny feet?

So MEGA get the license for Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire (2024) but totally drops the proverbial ball and doesn't go back and get the licenses for Godzilla (2014), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), Godzilla vs. Kong (2021), or Kong: Skull Island (2017). Think of all the sets they could make that could be part of the Godzilla Monsterverse.
Mutos male and female Younger Kong Rodan King Godhra The other Titans Not to mention all the sets with scenes from the films. (I'd love a huge set of the Golden Gate Bridge battle and a scaled Godzilla arm/side.)
I hope I'm wrong and MEGA goes back and does this but I'm not holding my breath.

Just in time for two weeks after the holiday season, which is pretty much how Mega has done things for ~30 years. Still, that's before the film debuts, and not three months after, so that's a big change of policy.
