Heya,
Just started building Cobi sets, which are great!
What does the 1:1 block that appears on some steps mean ?
I know it is a simple and stupid question, but have newbie interest in knowing.
Thx!

Could you please attach an image of a page from a manual showing the 1:1 your speaking of, i don't remember seeing it listed in the sets I have built.

Lego uses boxes with 1:1 scale pictures to identify parts that might not be easy to identify visually. Technic + rods are a good example. It's been ages since I've built a Cobi set, but I'd assume they're doing something similar.

I was just browsing some of the online instructions @ the Cobi site, and your explanation looks to be spot-on. English-language version of site.

Oh yeah, the 1:1 pictures to show the differences between two similar looking pieces. This is why I shouldn't post when I'm sick as a dog, my brain doesn't work.
