Howdy fellow blok heads!
Just have a quick question. Did Mega Bloks ever produce bricks that didn't have any identification on them?
I've come across several lots at a secondhand toy store that I visit about once a week and it seems that the employees are possibly mixing other building block brands in with the Mega Bloks hence the question.
Cheers mates! -Rowdy

Actually quite a few of MEGA's bricks have been unmarked. Their 1x1 (round and square) bricks, as well as 1x2 haven't had the stud logo for most of their production run. Same with the 1x2 and 1x3 slope bricks. A whole slew of unique elements have been unbranded as well.
But if you're talking about the basic 2x2 or 2x4 brick, these have always (to my knowledge) had whatever MEGA logo is current for the time of release, even as far back as the Galaxy & Fantasy sets, along with the bulk tubs, from the early 90s.
If you post a pic we might be able to help with a tentative ID, but there are tons of third-tier brick brands out there, so it might be hard to pin yours down.

I'm asking specifically about the bigger elements like the 2x2, 2x4, 1x6 and so on.
I'm leaning more towards what you're thinking The Hegemon.

Well, the earliest 1x8 (M10233) that I have handy comes from 1995's 9604 Viking Ship, and it has the MEGA BLOKS logo on alternating top-studs. The part first appeared, as far as I know, in 1995's 9503 Space Station set. I own that set, but I can't identify the particular bricks that came from it.
The earliest 1x6 (M1313) that I have on hand and can identify with confidence comes from 2000's 9741 Sea Rescue, and it likewise has the logo on alternating studs. As far as I know the 1x6 debuted in 1999, and although I also have that set I likewise can't locate the specific bricks from it just now.
