Hello, the color codes
AYB (some kind of black?) AYL (some kind of blue?)
are missing. Any Idee what official color name these codes are?

I'm confident that the list has quite a few omissions.
Regarding these two colors, can you be more specific in describing them? And can you give an example of a set that includes them?
Also, we have no idea of the official names of any colors that Mega uses or has used; they've never published their master list and have claimed several times that no such list exists.

I can try to make them a little bit more specific. Both colors are used in the set Game of Thrones Eis-Viserion Showdown (GMN74).
In this set there are included the following parts: AM80135AYB AM74299AYL AM74299AYL and a lot of more parts, because the builded dragon is blue...
For me AYB seems to be a black tone, not really special, AYL is some kind of (pearl? camouflage? marbled?) dark blue.
I could make/send photos / pictures if nessecary

Hmm. Ok, I've checked some online pics of the set, and for AYB I'd be inclined to go with "Marbled Black/Blue," in keeping with the format I've used for similar color mixes as seen in the Monster High sets and elsewhere. Black seems to be the base color for AYB with blue accents, as compared with AVY Marbled Blue/Black, where blue is the base.
Not sure what to do about AYL.

I wonder if AYL should be some form of camo given some animals nature to have skin that blends in to be a better hunter or to escape.
AYB seems to be MM without the "metallic" aspect from my comparison. The instructions for the Master chief helmet show it more of a dark gray.

Let me reiterate that I haven't actually seen this color IRL, so I'm working from web images and will defer to those with first-hand experience.
The sharp-ish delineations of color suggest marbling to me more than camo, more similar in that way to the Monster High stuff than CoD stuff.
Either way, I'd hesitate to hang the color designation on its particular use in this set, since it might easily reappear in, for instance, a dark castle wall in some creepy MOTU set down the road.
As for the AYB question, frankyboy2109, do you have the GMN74 set? Can you compare the AYB elements to MM elements? lokisveil's observation makes sense to me, but again I'd value the input of someone who can compare them first hand.

I should have mentioned I have the master chief helmet but I would welcome a second opinion before the mold is cast.

I wonder if the AYL is like AXX on drogon. Thats a tough one to call.

frankyboy2109, if you hold the AYL pieces up to the light does it come through at all if even faintly on any of them?

hi hi,
sorry for late response, I haven't activated email notification before today and forgot to look for updates.
AYB is similar to MM. I would say it's the same color but without the metallic effect. or to awc without metallic and camo effect. What disturbs me is that there is a dark grey with ava in the list and this color is also used in the set gmn74. But only for small parts like an 1x1 plate and the am79231. difficuilt to see differences.
AYL isn't transparent at all. But I would agree to lokisveil, that is similar to AXX at the drogon set (I have both built up here).
So I would suggest the following color codes: Dark Grey / Dark Red Camou (AXX) Dark Grey / Dark Blue Camou (AYL)
No Idea if that fits to the general naming for colors, hope so.

The AXX does have some translucence to it so it would need fall under transparent or create translucence since when held up to the light the grey will get brighter.
I guess I should have asked that instead frankyboy2109, when you hold any of the AYL up to the light do any of the colors get brighter? I would assume it would be the grey if any. I would try a few just to be consistent since it's such a chaotic color.
As far as the intended pattern of the color, after looking at the monster high and the game of thrones, I think it would fall under the same as the marble that hegemon had used for the monster high sets. For lack of a better term I would go with the marble for the time being.
