I hope not! My local Walmart is doing their Christmas season re-set, and looking at some plan-o-grams(or whatever they call it), and I see NO Mega Construx slots. Granted, it is not one of the larger stores, but I hate that they might not have any Mega presence. Post intel for your area, I'm in a small town in eastern New Mexico.

I saw a planogram for a local store that had only Pokeball sets in the LEGO aisle, but they’d also moved the MOTU and Halo stuff to the sections where those brands are showcased. Not gone, but relocated.
I kind of wish they’d done this a while ago, rather than carefully hiding their Mega stuff on one bottom shelf at the ass-end of the vast LEGO wing of the toy department. Better to showcase it with related products, since they sure as hell won’t give Mega its own dedicated section.

Whew! Good to hear they should still be there! I think they did a similar type stocking theme last year or the year before. Had all the carded figures and a couple small sets one aisle over from Lego.

Kind of late to the party, but my local Walmart has stopped carrying Mega Construx all together except for some sets that haven't sold yet.
The only new items they are getting seem to be for the 3 year old and up range.

I blame Mattel for much of this. They’re one of the biggest players in the toy market, but somehow they can’t manage to put their weight behind their product.
It really seems sometimes that Mattel only sells Mega only reluctantly and as a last resort.
