What attracts you specifically to Mega Brand vs (or in addition to) other brands?

It's different than LEGO. Different subjects, pieces, and building techniques. Wish they'd get better distribution, but sometimes the hunt is exciting.

For me, It is the far superior figures, imho, and the "action" themes.

The first thing that brought me to MEGA was the Marvel figures. Since then I have gotten many sets and figs from alot of lines. I also like the marbleized brick colors, the other thing not available from other sources. my only issue with MEGA is availability in stores.

Way back in the late 90s, early 2000s, Lego was going thru their Jack Stone/juniorization era and I found some Mega cannister vehicle sets, especially 9254 Space Fighter (1st set I got). They were just the kind of fun build I was missing. Then I kept getting more of the small sets, then the mecha and large pro builder sets. I got some castle/dragon sets, alien agency, CoD, Halo. Star Trek and MotU. I really like the slightly different builds, the HUGE pro builder sets and the epic micro action figures, and accurate themed/licensed sets. I really wish they had a larger/wider store presence.
