For God's sake why doesn't Mega do anything to promote their own product?!? I've been asking that question for 25 years without answer.
How can any company in today's market rely solely on word of mouth for its "advertisement," when even the most avid fans can find product information only after fairly rigorous search?
Baffling. No wonder Mega gets relegated to six square feet of shelf space while LEGO commands whole aisles.

They are a confusing mess. Their website is mess, items show up in the shop but have no corresponding products pages, ex Hot Wheels and the World sets versus say Halo or Pokemon. Or MOTU had a heros wave that just came out but it's nowhere on the web site. Then there are the differences between the Mega and Mattel sites, where instructions are on the Mattel support site and not on Mega's, or the differences in instructions, that's usually resolution. If you go through the shop they're also coming out with more generic block sets - www.megabrands.com/en-us/construction-toys/mega-construx/mega-construx-wonder-builders-140-pcs-building-tube-speckled

Hahaha thats funny you should say that turricanster. I know exactly what you are referring to since i experienced that in trying to find instruction sheets, had to search 3 different website locations. I did find though that as long as a set was more recent they would be more willing to put up instructions if they were missing if you buggedctgem a little. Whats also ironic is the pages are still there but orphaned, so if you do a google on some set #'s you can get to it, but not through mega's index.
As far as word of mouth... i guess their "influencers" aren't working hard enough. First time i have ever even heard that term used.
I have no idea WTH an influencer is in this case... Buy our product or else???

Yeah lokisveil, that's how I was finding out about Yootz stuff. Google a set and then find that it's on the shop and unboxed but just not linked, but nothing about them anywhere on Mega or Mattels' site.
I think their "influencers" are working hard, they're just focusing on Halo, with The Domain, Brickman117 and Podcast Evolved on YouTube.

Can't completely blame them there, that and pokemon are probably first and second for their moneymakers. They pretty much seem to have a "complete" library of instructions for Halo all the way back to 2009. Gives one an impression of how much they care about that line.
It's funny you mention yootz, a guy did a review of a set and said it was, in essence, because teen girls made them make that series but at least he was able to get a bike for his halo figures.

I'm kinda mixed on Halo, half of the reason I want to get a "Hannibal Mantis Charge" set is so I can build it and call it Freckles

my CamperVan order with DeepDiscount has been canceled. Thinking it may have become the Barbie one, but who knows.
