The parts catalog featured here and in the original Bloks Forum consists of Mega Construx nee Bloks elements coded in the format used by LDraw and related platforms. I've been working on these parts for a little over 20 years, with nothing like a consistent schedule, and in that time certain parts have eluded me or have stood as long unreached goals. Among these are the components of the two-part "command module" from the 9736 Space Shuttle Endeavor, released in 2005. I completed the top half back in 2014, but the slightly more complex geometry of the end caps on the lower half has defeated me until now. The bottom and top are parts AM02251 and AM02252, respectively. Here are a few renderings of the completed elements, mostly because I wanted to take something of a victory lap. You'll note a bit of "faceting" on the cylinders; that's because they're rendered as a bunch of polygons rather than as true cylinder shapes. This has been a fun hobby for many years (nearly as long as LDraw itself has existed, in fact), and I still have many parts left to render. Attachments:

Also this, another part that took me a long time to get right. It's the AM02181 grill from 2002's 9735 FDNY Fire Truck.
Thanks for looking!

The Shuttle parts look great. I have that set upstairs, it's a great build and 'big boy' playset *cough* I mean display piece, like the submarine set from around that era.

I appreciate your work with LDraw. I remember when people used it to render LEGO parts in the 1990s.
However, I was wondering: For set inventory purposes, isn't it easier just to take photos of the parts? Bricklink uses both photos and rendering, but mostly photos from what I've seen.

That’s true, but I’ don’t have a good setup for taking adequate pics of parts. It would definitely be useful for parts with more complex geometry though.

Here's another one that I've been tinkering with for a long time: AM15246.
