Your modifications look all very nice and much closer to the original than Cobi's official set!
This makes me think that once I finally get this set, will I ever assemble it as Cobi intends it, or will I go straight for your vastly improved modified version ... ?

Thanks for the compliments, Caracho!
I'm glad you liked it
Got to say, i used 3 me262's for the extended/ reworked fuselage side (and now even added some more brown from the KV-1)
...but i guess you have a lot of spare parts already! ;-)
Btw, wasn't millitracks fantastic? I'm still impressed today! ...and i got a shitload of pictures.... I counted more than 50 vehicles; 5 schwimmers, 5 kettenkrads, 5 kubels, 2 Famos, 5 sd kfz 9 or 10(?), 4 sd kfz251 1 sd kfz 250 4 zundapp ks 750, 2 bmw r75, 5 other types of motorcycles( Union etc), and a kdf type 82 brezelfenster to name but a few.... ....and offcourse the Tiger II driving in front of you.... Bizar! And most important; all in place at the same time!

Really nice MOC! I like how you have colored the nose with "paper". :-)
Do you have a picture of the retracted landing gear? That looks great with the hatches.

Thanks tunix0!
The landing gear is in a fixed position so you can't really make it work
For the pics in flight i removed the rear landing gear
I used indeed printer sticker sheets for the nose as a quick solution which actually has almost has the same color
I was planning on spray paint it but this way you can always remove it to get the original color again ( unlike paint)
I did another nosepiece which looks beter then the one on the picture

I wanted also to do a MOC of the ME-626, but it was a color mod making it dark grey
