This is sort of a "historic" post, as this marks my first try ever at Cobi MOC ... the one that started it all
This is a repost of my MOC thread from the old Bloks Forum

Really excited about the Jagdpanzer IV. It's a new vehicle and a casemate-style assault gun/tank destroyer, a design I'm particularly fond of.
If you're into casemate-style assault gun/tank destroyers, may I present my Sturmgeschütz IV MOC:
I haven't taken apart any light grey model for parts prior to this MOC build, so the model should mainly consists of:
2481 - PzKpfw IV Ausf. F1/G/H -> for the base (obviously)
3001 - Hetzer -> for grey parts, especially the gun
2366 - Sd.Kfz.222 -> for grey slopes, small grey parts, etc ...
I also used a different hatch (from the 3000 Tiger I), 2 grey wheels for the spares (from the 2343 flak gun) and some bits and pieces (clips, antennas, etc) from my spare parts collection

I build this before the news was out that Cobi will be releasing a StuG IV this November.
I wanted to do an "asymmetrical" superstructure like the real StuG (with the gun not being in the center), which, judging from the first catalogue pics, Cobi apparently does not plan to do on their rendition.
With sideskirts:
On these pictures the StuG IV is accompanied by an all desert tan StuG III, build out of two 2465 sets plus some extras:
Tan gun barrel from 2477 or 2451+2473 and the 2x2 tan wing plates from either 2451 or 2473.
