The new Cobi set 2186 "2 cm Flakvierling 38" just became available, so there will probably be a whole bunch of Flakpanzer MOCs appearing soon! Anyhow, here's my shot at the "Wirbelwind". Inspired by Adam Purves's great MOC, I transformed a 2482 "StuG IV" into a Flakpanzer, 'cause no Cobi tank collection would be complete without a "Wirbelwind", right? Let's see if I have to update it once I get my hands on the 2186 set ... Here are some building detail pictures: And here are some "action" shots together with my Sturmtiger MOC: The above pictures can also be found in my flickr album for this MOC. Enjoy, Andreas

That's good, but you still must change wheel and tracks for the final job Another option is to make the width smaller. Your width of the hull and mudguard is 14 studs wide. ( hull is 8 studs and mudguards are 3 studs times 2 ) I also think that cobi tracks are way to wide for the panzer III and IV. They are 3 studs wide. Even for the panther they are to wide. They work fine with the tiger I and II. To make the panzer III and IV a bit in size with the panther or tiger, i made the width not 14 studs wide but 12 studs wide ( hull 8 studs and mudguards 2 studs times 2 ) I try to retain the oversized tracks because i think the smaller tracks cobi makes ( from the panzer II or sd kfz 251 are to fragile, and what incalcatore also says you have to use other wheels. I'll post pics of my stug III and panzer IV 70 to show you what I mean. They are smaller in width by 2 studs and have smaller mudguards ( 2 studs) and still have the big cobi tracks. Besides that your wirbelwind looks totally awesome!!!!! .... And it is only an opinion of mine about width
