I have also finished my assembly, and I also didn't apply the camoflage stickers and kept the model in plain green.
This thing is way bigger than I expected, it's definitely not in scale with the XingBao T-90, I would say it's more in scale with the Challenger II from Cobi's RC product line.
The model was quite fun to build, and it's construction is entirely based on the Lego parts library.
It's quite interresting to build with "Lego" parts in colors you are not used to when only building with genuine Lego bricks.
For example you get a lot of technic parts (gears, pins, etc ) in military green, which is kinda cool :-)
Quality-wise I would say the parts are in line with Lepin/Xingbao, I didn't stumble upon any damaged or insufficiently deburred parts.
But this manufacturer apparently does not use the same molds as Lepin/Xingbao, as for example the 1x2 "gold ingot bar" part has different engravings than the same part from Lepin/XingBao.
I couldn't find any quality problems when chaining the track links together, but when I was finished, the complete chain of links was bended in a curve, but sideways!
But after trying to bend it straight, attaching it to the tank and rolling a few times up and down, the links seem to have adjusted themselves somehow, so no real problem there anymore.
I had to replace 2 parts with genuine Lego parts to get the tracks running though:
The 4 rollers for the tracks (2 on each side) are attached to the tank with four 1x3 technic pins, but my set included 2 of these pins without friction (suitable) and 2 pins with friction (unsuitable).
They were really two different parts, not just friction caused by inaccuracy during production.
So two of the rollers were not able to turn until I attached them with a genuine Lego pin. But luckily I had those pins in my spare parts box ...
I checked my assembly several times with the building instructions, but somehow my turret isn't able to turn.
The back of the turret keeps beeing blocked by the studs of the "Tile, Modified 3 x 4 with 4 Studs in Center" on the back of the tank.
Should be fixed by either replacing the mentioned 3x4 tile with studless tiles or by raising the turret turntable by 1 plate.
But even then, the turret will not be able to turn the full 360.
Also the slanted front armor plates of the turret get stuck when trying to rotate the turrent.
The side armor panels are only attached at the back of the hull by "Bracket 1 x 2 - 1 x 4 with Rounded Corners", which keep them at a distance of 1/2 plate height from the hull.
But over the total lenght of the panels (29 studs) the parts are so bended inwards, that the distance of 1/2 plate height is not present at the front of the vehicle anymore
(which is actually not such a bad thing).
The cover of the frontal hull (covering the interior with a very detailed driver's seat) is quite a big part, attached to the hull by hinge parts, which doesn't really serve any purpose, as you are not able to open this "hatch" in any way, and the hinge parts are used in a horizontal position, so the "hatch" is not slanted in any way
(So "normal" bricks instead of the hinge parts could have done the job).
Somehow the frontal hull armor panels cannot be put in the exact position shown in the building instructions or box artwork.
But even in the position they will stay in, it still looks OK.
The engine in the rear is also covered by a detachable hatch.
Speaking of the engine, the instruction booklet shows something that is not possible in reality.
There is a long rubber hose attached to one side of the engine and then bended in a "u-turn".
In the (rendered) instruction booklet the rubber hose stays in this u-turn position, although the other end of the rubber hose isn't attached to anything, so in "real life" the rubber hose will definitely not just stay in that possition.
Strangely enough, this is also shown in the engine screenshot on the box artwork, which is apparently also all CGI.
Nevertheless, I still recommend this set, as the tank looks great (even without the stickers) and was fun to build.
I've already ordered another tank from "Panlos Brick" ...
