These came in a few days after I posted my MOC Firefighters. Everything in the pics is part of the set, except for the large base plate. Definitely hi-viz uniforms! These did NOT kill my fingertips putting the figures together, at all. A slightly softer plastic than the usual, almost a waxy feel, much like old Marx/MPC figures, for you old guys, like me. Not a lot of definition on the noggins, but I can see changing some of them out with heads that can wear the traditional looking firefighter helmets. Not interchangeable, as these have T-post heads, other helmets are for pin-post heads. Nice assortment of accessory items, would have liked a few extra water effects. Luckily, I have a ton of accessories for the belts/harnesses from previous Ali orders, so I can see plenty of tricking out on these. Anyway, here are some pics- Attachments:

Thing that kills me is that I assume Mega came up with the design for these bodies, yet some folks in China are using them to create all sorts of themes that Mega should do. They even did some Spider-man and Iron Man ones that were creative, if not terribly well executed.(lower part of costume looked like wrinkled jeans ) Guess the whole "city" theme that was teased just fell off the table? Maybe some company in China actually owns the design, and Mega got the use from them? If we still have an in-house person lurking, please sing out.

Great question. I'm not really good at patent searching, but maybe we can find the documentation for the basic "highly articulated" figure to see where it originated.
And holy moly why don't they run with it? They released a ton of American Girl figures, far more (I suspect) than the market would bear, but the only super articulated figures they release are either canonical licensed products of canonical-adjacent.
I'm so jonesing for a civilian pack! They could maximize on it by releasing several "set" of 10 heads/torsos/waists/arm pairs/leg pairs and let the customers go custom-crazy!

While that search for the patent would be a good venture I'm some how distracted by the logic of the sign that says "Beware of Fire". Kinda one of those no duh things.
