The other night I fell down the YouTube rabbit hole of clicking on "suggested for you" videos and eventually wound up on a pretty slick channel. TD Bricks has a bunch of cool vids, but the ones that particularly interest me are quick clips, two to four minutes, showing useful little MOC building tips. Most of them aren't revolutionary, but he does a nice job of showcasing simple techniques that can really punch up one's creations. This is something that gives me trouble, in fact. I'm ok (IMO) at building one-off MOCs, but I'm very weak on building scenes or structures in which to showcase them, and complex dioramas are wholly beyond me. Check him out here: www.youtube.com/channel/UCUU3GdGuQshZFRGnxAPBf_wI should mention that he seems to spend a couple of vids discussing "illegal" building techniques that I guess defy official LEGO standards. These mean close to nothing to me, so I've skipped all of those except the first one that I watched. Lots of good, simple suggestions that could easily be incorporated into MEGA builds.
