hello all! i am very new to this forum, but i hope to be here a while as i am a big fan of lego-related things. with that out of the way...
several years ago i went to a toys r us for my birthday and managed to acquire some kind of massive 5-vehicle military set. my memory of this set isnt clear, but i remember these things about it;
1. 90% of the pieces were a dark olive drab
2. it came in a huge plastic tote.
3. it had 5 or more individual military vehicles, a few minifigs, some basic scenery and terrain, and a few weapons.
4. the vehicles were the main focus, and they were all full-size sets like youd expect to be their own standalone thing, as unbelievable as that is.
5. i got the set as a birthday present(or something) for a record breakingly low 25$ when each vehicle wouldve normally been 25$.
6. it may have been megabloks, it definitely wasnt lego or tyco. i dont think it was cobi, i dont think it was gi-joe, and it definitely wasnt from a line for a video game.
7. i believe there were two color schemes available, the dark olive drab and a destert tan.
8. i am certain it included at least; an apache, a huey, an apc(possibly a bradley), an m1-abrams(possibly), and something else, maybe a tank or an aircraft.
9. the bogies on the tanks were identical to the types found in military megabloks sets common to the early 2000s. this may be the same as with the minifigs.
I'd probably still have the set, but one day my dad literally stomped on them and literally broke them. 80% of the set, including the huey, abrams, apc and apache had no unbroken pieces.
I aim to find that set again somewhere, someday, at least to know what i had. id be grateful if the people of this forum would help me find what im looking for.
I've searched for many years through ebay, amazon and google images with several search queries. i hope someone here knows what im talking about.
