After I finished the assembly of my Castle Grayskull, I was quite surprised how many spare parts were left over. At least one of each part, even of the bigger ones, almost like Noah's ark So I thought to myself: There must be something you can do out of all these leftover parts, especially the bigger rounded slope parts and the two brown plates. The brown plates had to become part of a roof, along with all the additional brown tiles as "shingles". And the bigger rounded slope parts would become the base of what would finally become an additional little oriel tower. It's at the same height as the outer ramparts, so it can be reached through the "secret" door next to it (when the castle is closed).

Although I tried to use as much as I could from the leftover parts, I still have a considerable amount of little spare parts left. The challenge was to attach the bigger rounded slope parts upside down as the bottom of the turret, so I had to use every available part, regardless of it's color. But in the finished result all these colorful parts are hidden from view. In the end I even had to use the 2x4 plate that came with the brick separator!

By my personal challenge was to use only leftover parts that came with the set, and I succeeded and I am quite pleased with the result I came up with
