Hello, Bloks Forum!
I think this is the right place to post this. Could we possibly add a "Set Inventories, Other Brands?" section? I was typing up a set inventory for a Tyco Super Blocks set to post here on the Bloks Forum, then noticed that there was a Set Inventories section for Mega Bloks/Construx, but not other brands.

There already is one and it has a tyco section but it looks to be locked so only the Hedgemon can add new info. I would send him your set info so he can update the folder and he will give you credit for supplying it

Indeed, there is a Tyco Super Blocks thread in the "Set Listings, Other Brands" sub-forum. I do have some sets to add to that later (the Dream Builders line). However, I was asking about a sub-forum for threads of Set Inventories, Other Brands; the list of pieces that are in each set. It seems feasible, but I am not exactly sure, that's why I'm asking.

Thank you for your very welcome question!
The main obstacle to posting other brands' inventories is, in most cases, a lack of a standardized catalog of part numbers. Tyco Superblocks happily provide the part numbers in their instruction sheets (though no formal color descriptors), and Hasbro's BTR & KREO lines show the part number on the underside of the bricks. Honestly not sure about Cobi, because I've been out of that game for a while, and the myriad fourth-tier brands seem not to offer any part numbers at all.
I could definitely update the Tyco Listings and would appreciate any contributions to that end. Perhaps I'll open a sub-group where inventories can be posted, which I can then convert into the standard Bloks Forum format, such as it is...

Thank you for your very welcome question! You're welcome, anytime! Yes, that's exactly why I asked! Tyco included piece inventories with their sets in the late 80s/early 90s (a good decade and a half before LEGO did) and they're at the beginning instead of the end, so you can gather your pieces before you start building. I typed up a rough draft of a Tyco Set Inventory and I used the closest color names I could from searching Google (ex: White, Pink, Lavender, Light Blue). I used the Set Inventory format you use on this board. Would you like me to send it to you? That would be great! Could you do that? What do you think of this idea? For the brands that lack official piece numbers, we could type up Set Inventories without the number, but still the other info. Ex: Qty Color Description ----------------------------------- 4 Blue Brick 2 x 4 It would be better than nothing, in my opinion.

When I started making Mega Bloks parts for LDraw ages ago, that's pretty much how I did it, because at that time Mega didn't print the part numbers on their bloks, and there was no official catalog of blok designations.
Since I needed some kind of structured naming convention for tracking the parts, I used a clunky dimension-based system, listing the piece's dimensions in XXYYZZ format. I also used a "C" prefix to distinguish "clone" brands from LEGO, and I used a alphabetic suffix to distinguish multiple parts with (broadly) the same dimensions.
A 2x4 brick might be C020104A, while a 2x4 plate might be C020104B. I don't recall exactly, because I've since followed Mega's part number scheme where available.
As you note, it would be better than nothing, and definitely a good starting point, since this information exists almost nowhere else online.
Please feel free to start posting in the new sub-group, and thanks for any future contributions!

Thanks again so much for making that sub-forum! I basically copy-pasted the format you were already using and typed up my inventories the same way. You can edit it if it's not exactly to your liking. I just added my first inventory, and will be adding more later. Check it out and let me know what you think

Nice. I believe I have a bunch of the Tyco blocks' part numbers/descriptions in a database. I don't think that I got around to inventorying any of those sets though, so yours will be the first in the library!
