Hi Cobi Friends! I'm Christian (37) from Germany and Cobi addicted since the Heinkel came out. I didn't know Cobi before. I found you on the old Hyperboard Forum and followed you here, to read the news and admire your MOCs. I already own a few of the beautiful plane sets and want to show you the newest Messerschmitt BF110, which has arrived on saturday. Maybe I'll create a Flickr page for my models in the near future. Keep it up! Regards Christian Edit: Okay, my Flickr Page is ready: www.flickr.com/photos/142755577@N02/albums

Mauerbrecher? Never heard of that Is it a real tank? EDIT: It looks like a Maus variant wtf And an ugly one at that. It's one of those "paper tanks", which means it only existed as a concept, blueprints, or a doodle on the back of a napkin. The World of Tanks game is full of these vehicles. I had hoped that they would stay out of the Cobi range, but it looks like that won't be the case. Don't get me wrong, a few concept or prototype vehicles would be neat (a lot of the German wunderwaffe would fit this bill) I don't want them to begin to overwhelm the historical offerings like they seem to do in the WoT game.

Darn, no pictures for the Krab, T-54, or PT91. The priest does look really nice however and I think the Grant has way more interesting desert camouflage compared to the plain olive green for the Lee.

The preview picture of set 3033 "Waffenträger auf Pz. IV" is quite interresting, as it might give us an idea what an updated Panzer IV will look like. As expected, Cobi reduced the track width from 3 to 2, but I would have expected they would use the new sprocket wheel of the updated Panzer II (2 of it on 1 pin) instead ...

Agreed. The all-green Lee make a lot of sense though, and I'm not as annoyed with it as I have been with those full green tanks recently. It's making me want to do some research into the usage of camouflage on tanks in WWII. Did American vehicles use cammo less frequently or is that just Cobi's design philosophy. Cobi sure isn't stingy in assigning mixed-color to German vehicles. But I'd also think that the Russians would have more cammo stuff, what with their practice of maskirovka and everything.

As far as I know, in World War II all US vehicles were painted in olive drab. In southern theaters of action, the Khaki Olive Drab was used alongside. But there were no official camouflage finishes.

Lots of American items in the ww2 line up there (but properly downsized scale wise, hats off for that)... Only 1 German this time I wonder if those new tires on that GMC fit Cobi's other wheel type like the ones from the ol' kubel, the smaller schwimmer wheel or maybe on the smaller roadwheels from the panzer IV... I don't like that 4 stud Lego-like wheel they used now at all You can make whole new smaller sized vehicles now with those tires in true cobi style Well, i'm only interested in the Me 262.... saves me lots of money this first quarter

Well, the american jeep is still too much big for the minifig scale.
About the new hellcat....I don't like it, always ugly.
The maserati collection....mah, too much ready parts, seems like the sort of "lego" kit made by airfix.
The mark I is very good, instead the renault ft is....really too much big.
For the WWI airplanes, the only problem are the landing gears, really too much big and large in proportion with the airplanes.
the m3 and priest are very interesting.

It seems that Cobi decided to replace the planed Waffenträger E100 with the Waffenträger Pz IV. I'm disappointed that they don't use the new front and back wheels for the Pz IV chassie.I think they don't work with these tracks.Has someone information about this?
