Well this is unexpected. Kodiak LAV III Armored Personnel CarrierA Canadian armored fighting vehicle with wheels. If I didn't know any better, I'd think that Cobi was taking a shot at Mega Construx, since this is the sort of thing that's been their bailiwick in the past. Well...Mega Bloks at least. Since the company was consumed by Mattel and became Mega Construx I don't think they give much of a damn about building toys anymore. Either way, this is only making me more eager for a new Cobi catalog!

Me 262 will be released in April Great news! That isn't that far off... Just a couple of months if it goes according to schedule Now all we need are some pics!! I was looking at that Airacobra and i think the'll use the same sort of landing gear for the me 262 I expect the'll exchange the front nosewheel with that same kettenkrad wheels they use at the wing wheels

And here is some speculation which 262 cobi will recreate If they stay loyal on the ace-theme these are the best candidates; Heinz Bar Franz Schall Hermann Buchner

It would be cool if Cobi would do prints on the glas canopys. For example the Airacobra Looks a bit odd without its typical door, also the Me 262 would need this.

It would be cool if Cobi would do prints on the glas canopys. That is indeed something they could realy improve, printed canopy's is a real must have on my wishlist Also i hope the me 262 gets his own canopy, nosepiece, wingtips and tail instead of using one from an existing model On the Sherman box art the nosepiece of the me 262 has a lot in common with the one from the airacobra I won't mind that because of designing new brick pieces the set will be more expensive, i'lll gladly pay some more to have a more unique model I wonder how the jumo engines will turn out

Judging from the product picture, the vehicle has no "steering" feature, so sadly it looks like Cobi has discarded this cool feature once and for all :-( Luckily it looks like the LAV II APC has only steering on the first two axles, so you would only need 2 Battle of Berlin issues No. 19 to upgrade this baby :-) (If it would have been 4 axles, it would become quite an expensive upgrade) P.S.: As I have already ordered the "Stryker" from Kazi, who would have thought that in 2018 actually two of these vehicles would find a new home at my place ;-)

Check this out; WWI is comin' up! The line up is called "Great War" apparently Interresting construction Cobi used on the Mark I to lead the tracks around the hull, using roadwheels on the inside of the front end. It's not like it is on the real thing (with a wheel outside the hull), but probably there wasn't another way to do it for Cobi. On the current pictures avauilable from the toy fair you can't really see yet how Cobi has done it on the back of the tank, though ... I wonder if they used the cart wheels from set 2153/2183 for the two wheeled steering tail. And I want to see some historical evidence that there were olive green Mark I tanks to justify yet another tank in that shade of green Yep, you're right, the only real Mark I I've seen so far (In the Bovington tank museum's "trench experience" exhibition) was in camouflage colors ... But ... I found some evidence: Apparently the Mark I No.712 "Dodo" (B battalion, 5 company, 8 section, B37) was colored olive green: Mark I at www.tanks-encyclopedia.comBut you can probably turn the Mark I quite easily into an olive green Mark IV

Not sure if this helps found it a while ago I believe its a prototype View AttachmentOh yes, this sure helps!! Great find! And indeed please share instantly because this pic is classified ultra hot in my world! ;-) Finally some good detail for all to see This is looking to be my ultimate cobi set... Freakingly awesome! I hope the brown will be changed in dark grey and maybe the wingtips a couple of studs longer and more square shaped, but that can always be fixed They are using the turbine bricks from the Boieng but offcourse it is still a prototype But I already think this one already looks amazingly good, wow!! Super good job Cobi, hats off! Number 1 on my wish list for sure

Fokker D VIII That's all i know. Wow, that's a lot of new stuff! Where did you get this info? HMS Queen Elisabeth? Does this mean the battleship from WWI or the new aircraft carrier? As Deinonychus already pointed out, understandable Cobi prioritizes Polish stuff, so if any kind of vehicle was operated at some point under a Polish flag, Cobi will opt for that version of the vehicle. That explains why we now get (with the "ORP Orzel" and the "Pol. Fokker D VIII") a Polish submarine and a Polish bi-plane :-)
