Already ordered a Yak 1 (white) and a Zero (whitish grey) I'm really trying to make it out of these 2 sets only, as a personal challenge I think the white and whitish grey will be a fine combo ( at least i'm hoping that Zero is whitish grey, because i don't own it yet.... Well it looks like it on pics) That sounds like a great idea ... I mean, besides the "saw" ;-) I'm looking forward to see the result in the MOC section :-) (Oh, and I can confirm that the Zero is indeed whitish grey)

From the Cobi facebook page in the comments section of the 2513 Sturmtiger box picture:
December 13th 10:03 Darek M.: When will you release a 4 engine B 17 [Flying Fortress]? (siakowski A kiedy 4 silnikowy B 17)
December 13th 11:37 Cobi: Currently there are no plans to release this (Na razie nie mamy go w planach)
That is very unfortunate :-(
I got all the Cobi bombers immediately when they were released as WW2 Airplane Collection magazine issues, so when I received them all a 2nd time as boxed sets, I thought of opening them all on a big pile of bricks and start building a B-17. But then I realised that it was not possible, because none of the existing bombers does contain a cockpit part that would fit to a B-17:
Existing Cobi bombers: 5532 "PZL P-37B Los" -> Cockpit parts only 4 studs wide, unusable for big bombers 5534 "Heinkel He 111 P-4" -> parts not usable for any other bomber 5530/5541 "North American B-25 Mitchell" -> Trans clear window part behind the nose piece should be in a non-transparent color to be usable for other planes 5531 "Vickers Wellington MK. 1C" -> Very special nose piece, not even usable for Avro Lancaster, B-24J or Halifax MK.I 5533 "Nakajima Ki-49 (Helen)" -> The only plane where the window part behind the nose piece is in a non-transparent color
4-engined bombers taken into consideration: B-17 Flying Fortress: Not possible with currently existing cockpit parts B-24 Liberator: B-24D with upside down B-25 nose & Ki-49 brown "window" part, B-24J maybe with Vickers Wellington nose piece B-29 Superfortress: B-25 nose piece (not really the correct shape) + use the rounded bottom piece also upside down for the top, so no upper cockpit windows at all Avro Lancaster: Maybe with Vickers Wellington nose piece? Handley Page Halifax: MK.I maybe with Vickers Wellington nose piece, MK.III with B-25 nose & Ki-49 brown "window" part Short Stirling: Not possible with currently existing cockpit parts
Any thoughts?

You need to consider a little detail, a 4-engine bomber in minifig scale will be too much big like a children toy and heavy about weight too.

I would like to see “Land Cruiser P 1000 Rat” (Landkreuzer P1000 Ratte). Calmly more than 2000 bricks. Certainly it would be an exhibition piece of every collection. Although it will not be so soon, we will definitely wait once. I think the Cobi tank collection has more and more fans not only because the models are becoming more better and have got much more details, but also because the LEGO goes down to the ...

Because the second quarter already begun, i wonder if cobi will release a new catalogue for Q2
Last year we had 3, so it wouldn't be that strange
Looking at a lot of wishes at above posts, it wouldn't hurt to make another one
I just hope cobi reads our forum
Here's mine ( with a lot of already mentioned vehicles) ;
- FW 190 D / Ta 152
- Do 335
- Ho 229 ( official cobi release)
- He 162
- Me 163
- Sd Kfz 250 Neu triple camo
- kubelwagen tan/ triple camo
- Kettenkrad tan/ triple camo
- Revised Opel Blitz triple camo in a smaller scale
- New version Tiger II
And i think there is still an unlimited reserve on models keeping in mind that more than half of all cobi models ( the older ones) are dying for a better version
I'm thinking of; (here are a couple which could be really improved but what i'm not really waiting for at the moment)
- Panzer III and all other based versions
- Panzer IV and all other based versions
I'm personally hoping for a lot more German vehicles because last quarter we only had the Me 262 in the WW2 line-up ( and a couple of worthless WOT tanks) with was offcourse way to less
I'm not good in the Polish language but i thought i saw a poll on their Facebook page asking what people wanted more; Allied or Axis Fact is Axis stuff allways sells more somehow.....

A lot of iconic Allied fighters haven't been done yet my list includes: Do 335 La-5 and its variants Late war Fw-190s P-47 razorback + bubble top versions Hawker Tempest Hawker Typhoon Gloster Meteor American naval fighters that are not the F4U (Hellcat please!) B-26 Beaufighter Pretty much any 4 engine bomber As for tanks, I'm not really sure there is anything that is greatly needed that Cobi doesn't have. Maybe a few more Curchill marks and improvements on the old stuff, I wish we got some post war stuff, a Leo 2 A5 onwards would be cool, and I haven't seen anyone try to make a decent leclerc outside of mocs

Yes aushen, i can't agree more
When looking at what's still missing in Cobi's lineup those Allied fighters are truly amongst them
I also understand the demand for large 4 engine bombers
You're also right about the tanks, i think they made enough already
I think i can also add smaller softskin vehicles , there is enough to think of (normal cars/ staffcars/zundapp ks750/Harley/etc) Would be nice to have more smaller sets ( we forget there are also lots of youngsters with smaller budgets)
But Lets face it; we are already living in Unique times with a brick brand which is making over a hundred different ww2 models.... Who's complaining?

I would absolutely love for a Schwerer Gustav. I'm a huge fan of rarer, specialty weapons with interesting histories. The Karl-Gerät is already a dream come true.
Also, the Tsar Tank would be really neat, if impractical.
