I just found Pokémon series 18 balls in Best Buy. It is strange, I find more MEGA in grocery stores and electronic stores than the actual toy section in department stores.

To my surprise, this morning I found a cardboard display for Mega Pokemon, almost picked clean except for two Ball sets (didn't see a price) and a small Pikachu set for $10.99, I believe.

From the findings I posted in this and my other thread, and the comments made by others here, it seems MEGA is quickly being cast into the Discount/Grocery/Dollar store realm of retail and less and less on the big box retailers shelves each year.

I'd be kind of ok with that if they actually leaned into it. They could easily have a regular retail presence as well as shelf space in the discount outlets, whether with overstock of previous sets or new, small sets designed specifically for that market.
Dollar Tree has a great many Mattel products already on its racks, so it wouldn't be too big a leap to add Mega to the selection.
