So as from what I’ve gathered, Halo, MOTU, COD (just had a new release according to some sites), Barbie and Hot Wheels, doesn’t it seem like MEGA is low on properties? Maybe being new I don’t really understand how they work but it seems like they had more license releasing simultaneously? Even if they did have new properties in the pipeline would they just release it or pump it up months before hand?
This is a really roundabout way to ask if anybody knows about any other licenses and how good their marketing team is?
Maybe Fallout? Or Bethesda in general? Horizon ZD/FW? Elden Ring? Why not go into the God of War or Borderland series instead of just offering a lone character, especially with Tiny Tina underway. Im just being greedy and starting a discussion.

I don't think "anybody" can understand or fathom what MEGA does with licenses amymore.

Lego made a Horizon tallneck set, so I think that series is off the table for the moment.

If would be interesting to see if Mega Bloks could do a Fallout line.
I don't see why they couldn't if since Microsoft already owns Bethesda.
If the acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft goes through, I would think since Microsoft has a partnership with Mega Bloks, that they could do more sets from Call of Duty or even bringing back World of Warcraft, maybe also delving more into the Starcraft license.
As stated before though, Mega Bloks has a strange way of thinking....

Has it always been strange or is it a Mattel thing?

It seems that it has gotten worse since Mattel bought Mega Bloks.
Mega Bloks has also been consistently losing shelf space to other brands like Playmobil and the new Max brand in Walmarts (at least in my area).

Walmart here doesn't even carry Mega in store any more but they also have a hell of a lot of empty shelf space in the toy section as well.

I was in a fairly large Walmart about a month ago and all they had was about 4 Hot Wheels sets and 3 Pokemon sets. I have seen more Mega stuff at Dollar General and Big Lots in the last couple months.

Not sure what licenses Mega is going for, but apparently they will be introduced as building sets: saw this on Twitter, I'm not sure where the original convo took place.

I have to wonder if this is a shift due to the new management. At first glance they seem to be "pruning the tree" so to speak.
Keeping Halo for figures is a good decision. I partially think they should keep the figures for MotU as well since they do have popularity as well as familiarity beyond Halo. I do hope they don't start putting emphasis on the Helmet/Skull line since I think it is a waste of plastic for the actual skull/heads themselves. I would rather have more bricks or another figure. Even if that meant raising the price slightly it would be worth it to me to get rid of that "case".
*Leaves two pennies on the table.

I'm with you on the Helmet/Skull line. I'll end up getting them, but I'd definitely would prefer more blocks and a cool build. Just as long as they're not designed like the Pokemon Vs. sets those are terrible.

I can say though, if you do want any specific pieces (for MOC people) that are actually in the "head" sets, they are a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a $40 set. If you are a figure collector and you see one you like in them its not a horrible price @ $5 a figure. Of course this is assuming that you can get what you want before the scalpers do

Since you mentioned getting them in another post (I think), what would you call the color of the skull on the skeletor slime pit? It is definitely not transparent jade we were misled to believe. It looks more like a space lime starburst or something.

Well that's interesting. Is it still transparent?

Here are some pics, 12MP camera, cause I'm terrible at deciding color Light through from front: Light through from back: Straight on light behind camera/over shoulder towards skull: Color match with the HomeDepot color match app, BTW this is with flash:
