I'm gonna bring this thread back for a bit. I recently accessed some of the items from my hobby of 30 years ago. Please remember I built and painted these 30+ years ago and my skills were rough back then. All these kits were from Tamiya and were salvaged off of Dioramas I built that didn't survive being moved from house to house multiple times. The unpainted areas were not visible when mounted on the Dioramas. Tiger 231 and a destroyed Stug (note the Stug was part of a diorama and it was partially under a collapsed building so that's why the rough paint job.) |

At one point I had well over 40 different models built and painted from Tamiya. US and German WWII equipment was my favorite. Unfortunately those in the above post are all I have left when my family sold the house I grew up in I packed them in a box and sent them with my parents. After 30+ years in a black widow infested garage loft down south im sure it's now just a box of plastic scraps. I'm kind of afraid to even look for them when I visit. Long story short thanks Gramps for the positive comment.

Spiders freak me the f out Then I advise staying the heck away from Tennessee. If it wasn't for my parent's free range chickens there would be Black Widows everywhere. Wait I changed my mind, my advise is get a pet chicken and let it roam, chickens love to eat spiders. Spider problem solved, and then you can have fried chicken once the spiders are gone.  |
