At this rate collecting some of the lines might be impossible for me:

People get ridiculous about their own stuff! If you value it that much, just keep it!

Well thats not the only one, cabal dropship went from 300 to 400, onix super battle went from 150 to 250. Being stuck home people are buying up sets probably as well as having money from the stimulus checks.
Oh well, just means I wont be buying for collecting anymore and will be switching to buying for pieces. I can't compete with costs that high.

Yeah, that's crap, and Ebay's been like that for many years. About fifteen years ago I messaged a seller because it seemed that he might not realize that he was charging six, seven or eight times retail for sets recently available.
He responded with remarkable hostility and threatened to report me.
I've probably bought about 20 things on Ebay in the past 25 years, and most of those 20 were before 2000, so I'd miss nothing, but it's weird that sellers pull this nonsense.

The magic of the market is that if no one is willing to pay the asking price, eventually it will come down...but if you can find someone to pay your outrageous asking price, who is to say you were wrong to ask? The last thing I need is a voice of reason!
