Hello, everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew what set this is from: It's not mine, as I found it on a reddit thread. However, I wanted to help him and add it to the set or part database in case it's not already there. Any help is appreciated.

I don't have a picture handy, but I believe that it might be from the 5354 Astro Walker dating from 1989. I'm having trouble finding a pic online, but I have it the Tyco Superblocks seet listing, so I must have seen evidence of it somewhere (possibly an old catalogue).
I can check if you (or he) would like more info, but for now that's my best guess.
Good luck!

It looks similar to the Tyco Super Blocks 5354 Motorized Astro Walker, which I have. I am looking for a few parts. I don’t know how to upload pictures, but I’d like to. Specifically, D10136 in Chrome (qty. 1) and D10152 in Turquoise (qty. 7), and D10528 (qty. 1).

Maybe this'll help a little: D10136 D10528 Oddly, I don't appear to have rendered the D10152, but it's a 1 x 1 brick with a hollow stud on one side.

Thanks. I have the instructions too. Does anybody know why there is absolutely NOTHING about this kit on the Internet. It’s one of the very few things I’ve ever Googled but found nothing — one hit, which has ONLY the model number 5354 with ZERO info on it. Did they only make a few? It is part of the Space Adventure Series of Tyco super blocks.

Good question. Tyco Superblocks info is a bit sketchy in any case, and I suspect that this set may have been rare even in its day.
If you want a laugh, call Tyco today and ask for info about Superblocks. There's about a 90% chance that the person who answers has never even heard of them.
Also, LMK if you'd be willing to scan & email me the instructions so that I can post them here (giving you full credit, of course).
Thanks!

Thank you, The Hegemon and debmc111 for providing the info on this piece and the set it comes in! I really appreciate it. If you want a laugh, call Tyco today and ask for info about Superblocks. There's about a 90% chance that the person who answers has never even heard of them. It's crazy to think that it's been so long that the fans know more about these old block brands than the current workers of the companies that made them. I second this notion. Sharing is caring!

I have scanned these instructions for you, but I don’t see your email address to send them. How do I do that?

I just bought a box of mixed building blocks and have this motorized piece! This is the only place online I could find any information about it? I would appreciate you sharing the directions with me. Hopefully I have all of the parts!?!

I have scanned these instructions for you, but I don’t see your email address to send them. How do I do that? You can do this a couple different ways: 1) Click on Hegemon's profile and send the instructions in a private message. 2) Send the scans to me by email and I can post them. I would give you credit for your contribution, of course. 3) Post them yourself by starting a thread on the Instruction Scans, Other Brands forum. I recommend using Imgur to host the pictures and use linked medium thumbnails in the post on here. I appreciate you doing this. Let me know if you need any help.

I know this is an old post but noticed someone had the instructions for this set (Tyco Super Blocks 5354). I’m hoping that I could get a copy!!! I just dug my old set out of a storage box! This is the only place I found reference to it. Please help if you can.

Wow, finally I found some information about this precious set, It was a gift for Xmas maybe in 1989 or 1990. The gray/silver plastic bucket is still in my mind and I also built things like walking dinosaurs and electric guitars. It will be great if somebody can point me in the right direction in order to find one of this Tyco Space Adventure Motorized Astro Walker. Thanks a lot and regards from Chile
