Yeah, those popped up on Presell on AliExpress around the same time the Missouri did. I feel like I made mention of them at the time, but looking back, I guess I didn't

Anyone had any luck with getting the Missouri yet? I still see quite a few of them on AliExpress but I’m not quite convinced that it has released yet.

I still have one open order for it, but the seller keeps postponing the delivery again and again, as this set has definitely not been released yet. But the seller seems confident it will happen ...

I think the recent lepin raid affected also Xingbao. Probably their new sets will be delayed.

A lot of stores have the Missouri off presale, and it seems like some people on tieba has received theirs, so it should be arriving soon!

I have received my XingBao Missouri last week, and I assembled it on Saturday, and on Sunday I assembled the Yamato from Cobi. Quite different builds if you compare the two sets, although the parts count is almost identical (2631 for the Xingbao Missouri and 2500 for the Cobi Yamato) and the size of both models (1:300) is also the same (so the Yamato model is a bit bigger, but so was the real thing).
In contrast to the solid Yamato from Cobi, the Missouri from XingBao is sort of hollow and does not have a closed hull on the underside (and it is on wheels, which I highly recommend to remove). Very different construction compared to the Cobi ships, so it was quite interesting to assemble the Missouri. The finished model of the Missouri consists of 3 parts, front section, middle section and rear section, only hold together by some technic pegs. This construction may be useful to transport the model (in smaller parts), but it is not very rigid, and I strongly suggest using additional bricks to stiffen the whole thing up. I also modified the underside hull construction (with existing bricks from that set) to improve the proper alignment of the rounded slope elements.
I had some missing or wrong parts, e.g. a 1x8 light grey tile instead of a 3x3 dark grey plate (!), but it was used where you could not see it, so you could easily substitute the missing part. Some tiles were heavily scratched, one of them beyond usability (The other ones could be fixed by polishing them with toothpaste). But the included "spare parts" bag did contain all necessary parts that were missing from the other bags (despite the before mentioned 3x3 plate).
The final result looks quite impressive, and in my opinion the dark red colour used looks much better than the bright red on the Cobi ships. The XingBao Missouri is definitely an improvement over the Missouri from Oxford, and it will be interesting to see how it will compare to the upcoming Missouri from Cobi ...

Way ahead of you, already ordered :-) And it's more or less the same price as on AliExpress
My AliExpress order from a long time ago is still running, but even if they get it at one point and send it, it might still get stuck at customs, so I have ordered the set also at the German shop. So if I'm lucky, I might end up with two Leo 2 at some point eventually ... which is way better than "none" ;-)
And according to BlueBrixx, they have it exclusively (in Europe), and there will be only this one batch ... And if it weren't for the BlueBrixx CEO, who approached XingBao directly, we might not have gotten this set at all!

From my poor understanding (poor youtube translate ) , Xingbao's Leo 2A5 tank is gonna be a limited run. Apparently the tanks don't sell well in Asia, so this European tank may not be even put into retail.... Link to youtube vid It takes 40 Euros to deliver to my place..... it will take a total of 120+ dollars to order on Bluebrixx. Anyway, my Panlos Leopard 2A4 ( 2019 version ) just arrived... so Mrs Pants ain't gonna let me live if I order another one.

The panlos Leopard is beautiful.... apparently they are selling now a new version which has less pieces (1700 against the 2200 pieces version I got) I think they got rid ofthe alternate version (I had plenty of unused pieces left). I just finished to build the bluebrixx gas sstation so I have to wait at least a month to buy some more stuff from their . They have very good prces also on some other Xb sets.

I got my Missouri put together this weekend and yeah, it's definitely a different building experience compared to every other block boat I've put together. It kept the whole thing interesting and it was pretty weird having a slice of superstructure just sitting there on the table before I completed the bow and stern. I had 3 missing pieces in mine, but they were all common parts that were easy to find replacements for. and like El Caracho, I really like the dark red for the hull. A nice surprise during building was when I was constructing bits that looked a lot like Phalanx CIWS guns. Then I'm putting together boxes that look like harpoon missile launchers. That was when I realized that the model was the post-refit version of the ship from the 80's and 90's and not just another WWII model. I suppose had I paid closer attention to the product photos I'd have known this, but it was a welcome discovery nonetheless

Another thing to note is that apparently people in China are starting to receive their Xingbao Chally-2s and 2A6s The XingBao 06033 "Chally-2s" is currently available at AliExpress for as low as 18 Euros ... that can't be right ...
