Well ... my Sluban Panzer IV will be destroyed by German customs
I was told that my argument that no part of the Sluban minifig (head, hands, arms, chest, legs) resembles the corresponding part of a Lego minifig does not count, because to protect Lego German customs will immediately destroy ANY KIND of building blocks that look remotely like Lego! Period!
wow, that is very harsh.

There's got to be some work-around with this. Does customs only do this with commercial shipments or could the sender mark the items as "personal property" to avoid this? I don't know, but if there's a way that I can help you cheat this biased system I'm glad to help.
I got a whole load of the Sluban sets on Monday. Only managed to find time to assemble the Pz. II at the moment. It's not the best or most accurate little tank, but it's a fun build with good treads. It comes off as a reasonable interpretation of the Pz II despite the lack of accuracy. The lack of markings was kind of a down-side, but fortunately I have tones of spare Balkenkreuz stickers floating around.

Put the Pz IV together today and damned if this isn’t the best interpretation of that vehicle’s proportions and overall shapes that I’ve seen so far. Can’t say that it is the best set or model, but when I look at it my mind instantly identifies it without having to think about it like it has to do for the Cobi or Kazi models.

This is crazy because you can buy Sluban in many German stores! Just order on www.slubanshop.de. Then the stuff comes directly from Germany!

Goddamn Sluban...way to come out swinging! Really liking that F-14 and what looks to be a T-90. The ships are mostly okay...I've seen Sluban do better, but if these are still dirt-cheap like recent sets then I won't complain too much. That Sherman though...that looks like it has potential for greatness. I'm impressed by that one.

I know one of the previous Sluban aircraft carriers (set M38-B0388, a fantastic monstrous model) was bigger (89cm instead of 68cm) and had more parts (1875 instead of 1633), but look how smooth Sluban has made the hull now. Almost as smooth as the ones of the Cobi ships ... and definitely smoother than the XingBao one.

The 2in1 sluban and tankette are italian tanks, m13-40, semovente 75 and cv 33.

That can't be right. Obviously it's impossible to make Italian and Japanese tanks out of building bricks. That's why nobody has done it yet
